Who could have ever guessed that from its humble beginnings the denim jean would grow to occupy the place that it does as a fashion staple. It seems that no matter who a person is or the station that they occupy in life, no ones wardrobe is complete without at least a few pairs of jeans hanging in their closet. From their beginnings as basic work clothes that were produced out of necessity from canvas tent fabric during the California gold rush they are now worn around the world and almost virtually every famous clothing designer has his or her name on at least one style of jean.
The designers at Liz Claiborne's fashion design studios have designed and created so many types of jean styles that it is almost too difficult to count and they also come in a super wide assortment of fabrics and colors. While other designers seem to be taking the safe approach and following on the tails of established trends in jeans the design teams at Liz Claiborne are staying on the cutting edge with great new looks in designer jeans for everyone that loves a great looking pair of jeans.

For instance, Liz Claiborne's Audria Crop Pant Jeans are anything but run of the mill and feature a smart looking short cut legs on them that stop a little below the knee for a classic look that goes back to the 1950s. They also, like so many other of Liz Claiborn's jeans have a flattening effect on the tummy as well as great form fitting cut in the back as well.
Then there are her classic cut straight legged indigo blue jeans that feature a style that has not changed for over one-hundred-years. These classic straight legged blue all cotton jeans are the type of jeans that you can expect a lifetime of wear out of, because the more worn and faded they become the better they look. For lounging around the house or heading out to the park or the beach there is nothing more comfortable to do it in then a great pair of well worn blue jeans and a soft cotton shirt.
Liz Claiborne also has available this same classic dark blue indigo straight legged jean in a stretch style fit for those who like their jeans to give a little now and again. The one thing though that sets Liz Claiborne jeans apart from all of the others is price and while so many designers have long ago ventured well beyond the hundred dollar mark, Liz Claiborne still offers most all of her jeans for around forty or fifty dollars.

I was at the outlet malls in Myrtle Beach last weekend, and was very disappointed. They no longer have the classic 5 pockedt jeans, and the sales lady said you no longer make them. I do NOT like the new look you’re calling classic now. The material is very trashy looking. The entire line on Liz wear seems to be made for the young girls, not for the women who traditionally wear your clothes. We do not want to look like streetwalkers. We want quality, not the sleazy materials I saw at both outlet malls. We want traditional denim, not the trashy looking stuff I saw last weekend. My friends feel the same way. We do not shop Macy’s since they bought out Hecht’s. The quality of the clothes has gone straight down. We’ve all torn up our Macy’s cards and no longer shop there. Your change in quality and style is chasing away the women who can afford to pay the prices you are asking. I love your handbags, but your clothing line has take a terrible downturn and you’re losing the customers who have supported you through the years. Bring back quality, and bring back the classic 5 pocket denim jeans, not the new classic with the trashy looking material.
